Technically, I was also supposed to see Bloc Party tonight but some asshole decided to clock me in the face halfway through the KMD set and busted the shit out of my nose.
Drunk frat boys should be banned from indie concerts.

I just saw The Research playing with The Young Knives -
The Research made the happiest kind of happy music, without being twee...it was LUFFLY.
Unfortunately, didn't get to see it all as me and a mate were putting on a Misery Night in the bar upstairs, which allowed me to play The Decemberists, Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, Interpol, Gram Parsons and Bright Eyes all in the same set, which was rather exciting. Although, for some reason most people were watching the band downstairs.
Seriously, what happened to the days when the scene kids would hang out at the bar and ignore the band? I mean, jeeez, some people...
The night was slightly marred by being mistaken for a hooker on the way back, which was all kinds of horrible, but never mind.
