anyone else catch the tour?

Saw Hypocrisy, Dark Tranquillity, and Soilwork about a month ago in Lawrence, the only really happening city in Kansas.

Hypocrisy was good, Dark Tranquility was naturally incredible, and Soilwork sucked. Basically the pit filled with preps and jocks when Soilwork came out and all the metalheads left.  A shame really that they were the headliners over legends like DT.  My friends and I drove about 4 hours to get to the show, then wandered around Lawrence trying to find the club, missing Mnemic in the process. My neck hurt for a couple of days, but it was worth it, as few shows as I get to see.

Exactly. Commercialism has entered Melodeath, and its not pretty.

They're quite gimmicky, but they were insanely nice to me. They offered me a spot up front, off to the side, so I wouldn't get hit being that I was on crutches.
