Snowpatrol are slightly less threatening than a pink bunny wearing a t-shirt that says "WUV MEH" on it in thick bubble writing. They are Satan's butt nuggets.

So how long has LCD Soundsystem been a multiplier for indie cred? I saw them at one of the half-filled tents and Coachella last year and that was my first introduction to them.
I was at the Incubus / Primus show that has already been mentioned. I used to bartend at the local outdoor venue, so for 3 years I saw many-a-band for free and even had the time to chat with some before the gates opened.
I distinctly remember Jack Osbourne cruising around on an electric razor scooter before the 1999 Ozzfest and even trying to get free beer from me. This was before the whole MTV generation got a hold of their privacy.

I saw LCD a couple of years ago at trash club, they weren't very good. Saw them in Brighton a couple of months back, and they were fantastic...
