Im sure that most Fathers of nerdy daughters can relate. I wonder if we will ever meet Marigolds dad. We have met Martens parents, Doras Parents, Fayes mom and Now Hanners parents.

My daughter's kind of like Marigold, though not as much into gaming (beyond Sims 3 and Alice Madness Returns). Still, I love having a nerdy daughter.

And I did a few (not very close, I admit) QC characters in my latest strip today (March 27): www.groovykinda.org

So. While re-reading QC recently, I stumbled across page 1182. On this page is Hanners making the most adorable faces ever while drinking something-or-another. Either because of my horrid sleeping patterns recently or just because I'm adept at having bad ideas, I made a shitty GIF of it.

If this makes your eyes bleed, I apologize.

So. Care to share your own GIFs?

EDIT: Sorry about the misplacement. I hadn't thought it arty enough to be fanart xD Ah well, the more you learn...

Good work making the chassis a little battered; I can imagine it would be by now, what with all the shenanigans and tossing.

Liking the Windows logo too. :D

You can share directly from flickr.  Instead of "Grab the link" use "Grab the HTML/BBCode".  I usually strip the BB code of everything except the image tags.

Thanks, Carl-E. I tried that, but I'm going to take apart your post and see what's different from my attempt. Thing is, everything I try lately, including repeats of what worked before, gives me the "image" symbol in my post instead of an actual post. So I have no idea whether I'm the only one seeing that, or whether my image attempts look that way to everyone.

Thanks again.

It's also possible to have a Flickr account set up to not allow that kind of link easily, I think (but yours isn't set that way).

(Disclaimer: I don't use Flickr, but I sorted out someone else's attempt to link to it when there was no obvious way, and at one point it showed a message saying "downloading not allowed" or something like that.  It allowed me to link to the farm, but made it hard to find the address of the image in the farm.)

Imo, Tai doesn't look cute in that at all. The nose is really bulbous, and her body looks really masculine - especially the arms. I know she's supposed to be 'butch', but it just doesn't line up with Jeph's rendering of her, to me.

Well Dora doesn't look like Dora either; her face is far too flat. But I still wish I could draw half that well.

I don't know how common it is to ask for fanart, but I really want to get a tattoo.
Which tattoo? The one Dora is talking about in #1139 of the B-52 dropping kitties.

Does anyone has to courage to paint it and make it my new tattoo?  8-)

@Carl-E -- I do some work-for-hire stuff, but nothing serious of my own yet. I've been trying to get a webcomic going, but I haven't managed to crawl out of the plan-it-all-out-then-scrap-the-whole-thing cycle so far. Here's hoping. :) I do have a few short comics in my Deviantart gallery.

Wow!  I could tell you had quite a bit of both skill and experience.  There's some great looking stuff there!

If you're having trouble with story lines or ideas, have you ever considered teaming up with a writer?

(No, I'm not offering, but I know that it frequently works that way...)
