Robbo:
Yeah, I've heard stuff about The Blueprint and it's never sounded any good to me. At some point I'll get around to checking out real underground UK acts again.

muffy:
Pack of Wolves - I'm something of a novice to kitschy pop, being as most of my music is inherently depressing, BUT...
The Kitsch list at the moment is:
Pipettes (mentionedd already)
Tilly and the Wall (none of my mates know them, but it seems they're pretty popular on here - they have a tap dancing drummer, so it's impossible not to love them!)
Kenickie (sadly, they've been and gone, shouty girl rock/pop, they sang songs about PVC and going out and getting drunk. They were amazing)
Smoosh (a 10 and 12 year old playing the best kind of songs, everyone should investigate them, they epitomise good pop)

And maybe some Beulah, Park Ave (if you can cope with Conor Oberst's involvement), Melys (a bit indie-fied, but a lush welsh band), Kimya Dawson (one half of Moldy Peaches, and, unlike Adam Green, is not a knob), Surferosa (a bit more brash, sort of electo-ish) and Younger Younger 28s...

Wow. I didn't realise quite how much of this stuff I had.

*giggle*

I'm going to see them next month at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of Meltdown. Eels... WITH STRINGS. I may just explode with tears and angst! But it will be worth it!

KharBevNor:
I like SikTh fairly well, they were a bit of a let-down when I saw them supporting Pitchshifter though. Especially as I went for them.

I really, really want one of those Prick-Tees 'Kerrap! Life is lame: horrifying real British metal every wednesday' shirts.

Ridicule:
I saw them supporting pitchshifter as well (portsmouth), they were much better when i saw them supporting machine head. Pitchshifter however were outstanding~
