Korlin:
Heard of:

65DoS - Monumental, their debut kicks ass. Damn their rescheduling of tours!
The Frames
Bearsuit
World Inferno Friendship Society - I really, reeeeally want to see them live. Like, now.
Dispatch - awesome, and parent-friendly. Their final DVD is wanted, by me, oh yeah.
The Lawrence Arms - exliontamer, you rock. They rock too.
Sneaker Pimps
The Pipettes - don't they have a new lass now?
DFA 1979 - Anyone else seeing them Wednesday here in Leeds?
Four Tet - totally seeing him in London in June! Wooo! Anyone seeing Prefuse 73 the night after?

Now know:

The Paper Chase - for yes!
Envy - Anyone know where I can get some samples? I am intrigued...

Recommend:

Jeniferever - Swedish (I believe) post-rock, 65DoS supported them a a BSM label show in january, really very lovely. Their 'Iris' EP is a thing of great beauty

Modey Lemon - These guys fucking kick ass live. IMHO, that is.

Vialka - Anyone actually heard of them? Absolutely bizarre...

Also much pimpage to controller.controller (kinda DFA1979-esque), An Albatross (insane), Hem (folk) and The Gossip (gospelish rock)

There ya go.

a pack of wolves:
No! Don't mention An Albatross and Vialka! I'd already bought a ticket for Nile when their gig together was announced. And good as Nile were, I have a bad feeling I made the wrong choice. The Gossip are awesome too. Good call.

I'm going to add Spy Versus Spy to the list. Long-gone UK emo band, who for some reason went on to be in uniformly appalling bands. Their debut mini-album's stunning though.

Robbo:
Hey now, if Nile played Unas Slayer of the Gods, there's few finer gigs to be found thank you very much.

Jeniferever are alright, in my if post-rock is there I'll listen to it way. Listend to them for a while.

Yeah, the old one was apparently too bitchy to deal with...
And the new one used to riverdance for Michael Flattley.

So, you learn something new every day!
