a pack of wolves:

That is a tune, but actually the material from the new album was the best stuff of their set. I did enjoy them, but for one thing Vialka and An Albatross had better support bands instead of the woeful Man Must Die. Dying Fetus were decent though, rather soothing actually.

Robbo:
Yeah, I saw them on the first date of the UK tour in London (was also my birthday as well) and the new stuff was impressive. Support seemed to have been buggered for that tour, with people pulling out all over the place. We had some random but good local Death Metal act as second support. Dying Fetus where nice and brutal as I'd hoped.

Anyway, go listen to Karl Sanders' solo album, it's beautiful people.

Hmm, I maybe commiting a hipster faux pas but I haven't heard of them.  What type of music do they play and where do they usually play?

I've been going back and listening to some oldies but goodies from our local San diego bands.  Three Mile Pilot, Black Heart Procession, Heavy Vegetable,  Thingy, Physics, and Optiganally Yours.  Of course Pinback is still good and it amazes me so many local musicians form and break up bands that most of the big local bands past & present are connected in some way but some how still manage to not sound anything like one another.

Kai:
The Residents are from San Francisco. LISTEN TO THEM.
