What's your worst musical tragedy?

Before I learned the true value of music I had a load of CDs out of their case laying about on the windowsill... my then-girlfriend knocked a drink over them, and one of the ones I failed to grab and clean in time was David Bowie's 'Hours' album...

I liked it, anyway... I think that's about the only real tragedy I've had, and that was many years ago.
