Anyone play this awesome game?  Its my favorite fighting game.  My roomates and i play it all the time.  Im a Fox pro.  Who do you use?

of course people have played it :)

its not a fighting game though...atleast i dont consider it one.

i think it has more in common with mario party than street fighter 2 :)


anyway, i use zelda mainly, dk, iceclimbers.

Me = Mewtwo grab-whore. Esp. when I have a charged shadow ball. Grab, throw downwards, forward smash, launch ball. Does quite a bit of damage early on, but the throw bounces them too far when they're at high damage.

In the original I exclusively used Link. In Melee though, I would use either Link, Zelda/sheik, and Roy. So uh...I guess I loves me the swords and stuff. But I'll play with any character you give me, as long as it isn't pichu or jigglypuff.

I use Fox or Marth.  I tried to get the hang of Falco, but his special moves were to jerky for me to get used to after training myself to run around like crazy with fox.

It is also fun to use Yoshi or Kirby and do nothing but ass pounds/stone move thing through the match.

What are these "black" versions of characters that people are talking about? I own the game, but my ex-roommate owns the system, so I have to go visit to play until/unless I save up enough disposible income to buy my own 'Cube. Of course, I might just wait for the Revolution, considering it's backward compatible.

It's just a costume colouring. Black is, of course, the equivalent of having a red car: it's just better. Mind you, I play a character who is emphatically not black. No red car for me.

Kirby, only I use the hammer more than the stone crush moves. I'll also assimilate any character coming, but I find Link or Falco are the best compliment to Kirbys moves

I am a Marth Parrywhore.  I am the bane of anyone who doesn't pay attention, as I will parry the shit out of you until you stop to realize you should just grab me.

However, after getting over my excessive need for manliness and a sword, I now play Peach.  I love her hovering and her sweep moves.  Ok, the real reason I play her is that when she wins, one of the things she says after the fight is, "Oh, did I win?". Its so degrading to your opponents.

I try to play as many charecters and be equally as good as with them as possible.  Ness is a little freak and his return (up+B) is one of the most annoying but he comes with his own little homerun bat.

The best part of this game is the mode where everyone has like the most percent you can possibly have and you spend the entire match busting the shit out of each other.

Oh man, on the original game I was a total Link whore. Nothing  like sword-bashing, bomb-slinging, boomerang-in', or hookshotin' your enemies to oblivion! But then...some terrible happened...

GAMECUBE.

I didnt bother buying one, so I play Melee at my friends house. I tried to get a feel for any character, seeing as Im totally uneasy around that controller...and guess who I felt the most comfortable with? That sexy, pointy-eared, tunic-wearin' sonofagun! Hehe...charging arrows and hookshots of life-saving....now THIS is entertainment.

Woo I'm so good at that game! Actually, I used to be. Now my friend's little brother beats me at it all the time. He's in 5th grade.

I like Peach because throwing vegetables at people is fun, Kirby because his taunt is wicked cute, and Roy because one charge of his sword thing-water kills everyone. Actually, when I want to win, I usually just play with Falco, because his blaster pushes people back and things.

We had gotten all of the characters and a lot of stages before we tired of the game. Ye gads, that one where you have to hit the sandbag really far with Yoshi is hard to get.

I always found quite a liking to Roy.

I haven't played in probably a year or two, mostly because I got tired of the people on the GameFAQs board waving around their Home-Run Contest scores like penises. But I did enjoy the game very much, especially the bajillion trophies to collect, which I always enjoy.
