Anyone else play Neverwinter Nights? It's a few years old now, but I'm still playing it on a roleplay server, The World of Palladium. It's a PW based on Kevin Siembieda's (creator of Rifts) Palladium Universe (if you want to know more, see the post in the Registry Forum ) and it's kept my interest in NWN.

So if anyone is still playing NWN, what server/aspect is keeping your interest? Also, is anyone waiting for the release of NWN2 ?

I'd LOVE to play NwN. I got it a month ago, installed it... and I can start a new game and all, but I can't get past even the very first section of the prologue without some kind of obscure glitch happening that resets my computer.

I have all the expansions and all patches installed, and the same damn thing happens EVERY GODDAMN TIME.

It's efectively wasted money.

Anybody got any advice? And don't give me any crap about graphics drivers or anything, they're all PERFECT.

I have NWN and all the expansions... for PC... except I sold my PC, and have a dual G5. :(

I've acquired a mac version, but it wont even start up!
Anyone else have Tiger/NWN issues?

I'd defiantely like to see a NWN2, especially a mac version.
I may just put NWN on my Server at home (a bit underpowered) but better than no NWN! :)

I vaguely recall the name, but I never played there. I'm not even sure if it's around any more.

It's a real bugger that the population of NWN is diminishing. I've heard of a number of servers (many once had a decent rating on NWVault) that are dying/are dead despite the owner's efforts.

It's getting really frustrating for people like me who can't stand the current top end games such as WoW and Guild Wars - I don't want to put up with the sort of people that frequent those games.

2006 is just too far away.

WOI is by no means dying. its one of the only servers consistantly full at times.(noon est usually)

Find WOI under ACTION.

It works fine on my imac g5 with tiger.  I also had the PC version and then bought a mac.  I aquired an installer for the base nwn, dragged my PC version files off from the expantion cd's and then ran the latest updater and it works fine.

I was also able to use my PC serial numbers with the mac version so I don't feel like I stole any thing.

I just got it a few days ago. Tell me it gets better, after chapter one. I'm not that excited by it.

Ok so it looks great but...blergh. Nothing is really happening.

It does, it really does.

Also the expansions make things better too(well Hordes was kinda dumb IMHO, but Shadows was cool)

Played it, loved it, got all the expansions and everything for it and loved them to. However i havent been able to play much online, because frankly i find it impossible to level up my character from scratch who is most probably always too weak for even the lowest level monsters. However, i did like playing on PVP servers with Max leveled characters, it was fun.

that slogan is a good slogan. so good, in fact, I think it should be applied to other things. like, "there's no wrong way to hit your spouse." or "there's no wrong way to commit nonconsentual sodomy."
