Condition Oakland:

--- Quote from: Praeserpium Machinarum ---I like hip hop(Streets, Roots and a couple of others) but I can't stand the braggadocio, that some hip hop acts use way too much time on . Basically I want more than shout-outs, how cool I am, PARTY and how my homies are all dying. Good original lyrics is all I ask. I am considering getting Sage Francis - A Healthy Distrust, Themselves - The No Music and cLOUDDEAD - Ten, anyone have them and are they good?
--- End quote ---

I can definately vouch for Sage Francis, everything he does is great.

zekterellium:
i like outkast, murs, aim and el-p. hardly eclectic but i'm pretty new to it all. oh, and dj shadow is my favourite artist of all time. yay.

heretic:
shadow is good. i got to see diplo and RJD2 earlier this year. that was the first time i saw lyrics born, he stole the show. the DJs were good too, but LB rocked the parish like no other

zekterellium:
good call, rjd2 kicks it. and shadow is just a genius, i just downloaded this live set of his a week or so ago and it's immense. i love that guy.

Me And The Moon Car:
I listen to Jurassic 5, A Tribe Called Quest, the Pharcyde, NWA, Public Enemy and others a lot. I adore NERD and the Neptunes' work, too. That's some fucking funky music right there.
