sidenote: my computer just got to me afte a month in the mail, and i have all my music again. i tried to listen to it all yesterday, seeing as how it could play for at least 4 days straight (estimate, but then again that's my job) i failed and am really tired today

I really like hip-hop, it's good, but not my favorite genre

I'm really into Mood Ruff at the moment. Everybody should check out I Do My Own Stunts and/or the Antarctica: Cold Cold World EP.

The new Common album is disppointing because it is plagued with Kanye West's bullshit.

I like Rap. I'd say I have a variety of tastes when it comes to music/movies. :P

For me, the soul is the best part of hip-hop. I love the way Kanye produces. He really adds that gospel/soul oomph to what are normally stale beats. The Roots have a jazz thing that I really dig, and all of them have talent.
