stupid new AIM virus

someone help me out, i got some virus over AIM and i cant get it off with virus scans or clearing out my temp files, it keeps goin on my friend list and sending people links to the virus saying theyre something else, anyone got any idea how i can get it off, and yes i have re-installed AIM 3 times already

AOL != AIM.  AOL is the ISP, AIM is their messaging service which everyone uses.  The best way to not get infected is to not click on links with extensions you don't recognize and also hover over links to see what their actually linking to before you click.  .pif .com and .exe and .scr links are usually the most dangerous ones.  also if you are infected and are spamming other people you might want to let them know that they shouldn't click on the link

thanks again guys, the AIM fix client Condition Oakland sent me did the trick, anyway i dont use AOL lil john, im not dumb enought to use AOL as my ISP
