they call themselves indie dance core. they have supported bands like kasabian and even a radio 1 DJ bought a cd at one of their gigs and deemed it play worthy on national radio.(it is the no. 1 radio station fro music in uk. usually play hip hop etc but idie crapt in there) check them out. I don't know if i should be plugging my mates band but meh.

i would say it is, i cannot really think of any other national radio station taht is more popular. i personally prefer radio 2 but that is only because i like jazz and classic rock(and roll).

I'm a radio 4 listener myself.

What I don't get about Radio 1 is how whenever I tune in to it I hear pop music, pop-rock etc. , whilst pretty much every signed uk band and their grandma has a Radio 1 session on some recording. I mean, at what time do I have to tune in to hear Anaal Nathrakh or The Meads of Apshodel? Sometime when nobody who scares easily is listening, I'm sure, but still...

i am intreged by this sudden influx of people listening to radio 4. whenever i tune in it is on par with classic FM, when do i get easy listening bliss. i am not sure when radio 1 plays its good stuff, it was just in the news section on the website above. i was impressed and this band has a huge following in  the portsmouth area and london. so i thought an indie forum would be a great to plug.

Radio 3 has some pretty nice Jazz shows. For anything else, you want to invest in DAB: Radio 6 and the world service carry regular doses of such things.

In regards to the band in question:  I really wish their samples were a bit longer...  it wasn't much to go on, really.  What I did hear, though, didn't really do anything for me.  It's not bad by any means, just not really within my taste in music.

Radio 2's actually got a lot more listeners than 1. They beat them a few years ago.

As for the songs... they were really dull and unoriginal sorry. Maybe it was the short samples, but I think they just don't have any particularly good ideas. They could put one of the tracks up in full though, some friends of mine have got one of the tracks from the split 7" they're doing soon up in full on hxcmp3.

sounds pretty good to me, but a bit short, if it is the current release then it does make sense not to issue the full thing

i didn't mind it, but the vocals really got on my nerves. don't get me wrong, they're cool, just a bit TOO hight pitched. I think it was just that particular song.
