In my PM to 24, I mentioned Taiko Drum Master, which is kind of the PS2 equivalent. The game comes with a fake taiko drum that you plug into the console and beat in time with music.

ooooh, loud banging on a drum.... somehow I think she'll love that :) I'll look into it

LUIGI'S MANSION.
Quite simple, quite fun, a great game for girl/beginner gamer who doesn't like their games too nerdy.

How is either game? I've only played around with the demo of Donkey Konga and haven't played Taiko Drum Master.
24, is she into puzzle games? I think there is a Puyopop game for the Cube plus I know there is a Tetris game for PS2.

She seems to like anything really open to you doing whatever you want rather than a series of challenges, that said, she just fell in love with DDR yesterday... maybe puzzles and music based games are the way to go?
