Something for the little lady
Tinsel_Shine:
As I female, who likes watching her brother play games, dislikes playing games with realistic violence, liked Super Mario Sunshine but found the later missions too hard and loves Animal Crossing to death, I second Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (best game ever, and with perfect difficulty level for me) and Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (possibly my joint favoritest game), it's kinda sad that you can't get her to play paper mario. It's a lot more fun than you'd expect a "select moves off a menu" game to be (trying to get perfect timing pressing random buttons should not be that enjoyable).

Does that mean I'm a couchmonster?

MMOs.
WoW, City of Heroes, something like that.

It sounds to me, especially from her usage of Tony Hawk, that she would really like the Sims. You can probably buy some of the older PS2 sims games used for much cheaper, and they're pretty fun. They're not the computer game, but they have features that the pc games don't really have, which can be interesting, too. They have that great ability, too, to allow you to do several different things, like play to fulfill goals, create different groups of people and let them have at, or even just build house after house without having to actually really 'play' with the sims themselves.
Ooh. Also. KD is awesome. 24, did you end up renting it, or have you bought it yet? Do tell how it goes when/if you do ...
