Also, every Les Claypool project that is not Primus (and even latter day Primus is pretty jammy) is pretty much a jam band.

They pull off the hippie look and thus have been labeled as a hippie band by the press. Which is why I tried applying the term here. I doubt they jam, but I never even bothered checking them out live, so I can't tell of course.

Live, they jam a damn lot.
Not that this qualifies them as a jam band as such, but I just couldn't apply the label "hippie jam band" to any band I know.
