Who ever told you this is a big fat liar. I saw APC last year (I went to see the Mars Volta, who were opening, and I didn't give a shit about the headlining band at all). And they don't jam. They barely even move on stage. I think they might actually be statues rather than musicians.

No, not really.
Also, I've heard from people that have seen them several times live that they are pretty much uninteresting on stage.
