Looking for new bands

Hi, I'm new here (to the forums at least).  I'm young, impressionable and looking for some good music.  I really haven't been into music for too long so all the bands I listen to are really well known (my favorites are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and The Who).  Since a lot of people here seem to be really into music I was thinking that I could find out about some really good bands that I would otherwise miss out on.

That's a start .. both a NZ bands so may be a little hard to find ;)

I've always thought that classic rock fans (like you seem to be) might like Built to Spill.  That's a solid place to start.  :)

If you like The Beatles you should definately go for some Moxy Fruvous or Of Montreal :)

So what if the guy who actually had all the songwriting talent was a Kiwi, that doesn't mean anything . . .
