Ew. Bad Religion? Fugazi, I can understand, when keeping their early career in mind, but BR? BEST? Nope.
And I totally agree with your feelings on J-Pop. I know too many people who love that shit to death.

I mean, keep in mind he used the phrase 'hardcore-punk' here, which is pretty redundant. He might have been differentiating from hardcore dance...but I doubt it. and Fugazi are post-hardcore anyway.
