This is a thread about BAD BANDS holyshitomg.  You think people aren't going to be bashing shitty bands in here?  Well, you've got another think coming to you.

If you don't want to hear bands you don't like being bashed, don't read threads about shitty bands.  Or maybe instead you're a masochist who LIKES her favorite bands being insulted.  I don't really know, but it doesn't matter.  This is a thread about shitty music, thus, bashing shitty music is perfectly fair game, and not an asshole move.  Calling me an asshole doesn't change the fact that everything I've said here has been pretty much fair game for this thread.

An asshole move would be calling you a prudish bitch, but I would never lower myself to the level of calling a spade a spade.

Woohoo! People on the internet like me! Hey...wait........i dont have bad taste in music..........i just lack a lot of indie cred heh. I live in the middle of nowhere, we dont get to hear/buy a lot of different types of music, so oh well.

That was more a response to her constantly calling me an asshole or a dick.  I don't care if she thinks my comments about Coldplay's lack of merit are mean.  She ups the ante by calling me an asshole for it.  Either we limit the discussion to the merits or demerits of music, or we extend it to personal insults.  Calling me an asshole is a personal insult.  Personal insults don't really bother me, but if we're going to play that game, well, a lot worse will come out than "prudish bitch."

Personally,  I'd prefer to keep the discussion to the merits or demerits of music.  Personal insults belong on IRC.
