Okay, so I'm gonna be buying a Powerbook in the near future (once I've sold arm x 1 and leg x 1), and I finally want to hook up my room to a sweeeeet system of sound. Any technical fellas able to offer suggestions?
What I will have is a TV, A PS2/xbox 360, My Powerbook and and Ipod. What I'm after is a surround sound that i can connect to all of the above and switch between.
So, say I'm listening to an album on my powerbook. I wanna be able to hear out of my speakers, and then perhaps switch to watching a DVD on my PS2, and then watch a bit of tv, all of which i wanna hear on the surround sound. And, although this is less important, perhaps somehow include an option to connect my ipod to the kit and listen to that as well.
My hardware knowledge is very poor when it comes to AV stuff, so any nice fellas out there wanna spread a little techie love by offering solutions or perhaps explaining their own setup?
