Kings of Chaos

Kings of Chaos is one of these online turn-based empire-building dealies.  It's kinda weird though, because instead of just getting X turns per day you get 1 turn per 30mins, and they add up.  So it's like, 48 turns per day, staggered throughout the day.  you can do a bunch of stuff, then go off and have lunch and come back to a few more turns.

It's in a medieval setting.  You get soldiers, train them, equip them, then send them off and fight your neighbours for more gold.  There's spying and defenses and so forth, but i haven't really done much of that yet.

If it sounds interesting then join up using this link: http://www.kingsofchaos.com/recruit.php?uniqid=yct8689q and lemme know that you've joined up so that i can ally with you and vice versa.  hopefully allying does something other than marking someone as an ally.  i've allied with a few people from Dumbrella, but i'm not sure if they've allied back, or if it's giving me anything special or whatever, but it's worth trying a least.

*** ok, i've figured out one thing that the allying and the recruiting is good for.  you recruit people and get recruited so that people can see who you're an officer for, and who they are officers for and how many officers you have etc when they are thinking about attacking you.  so obviously, the more people who you seem friendly with the less likely you are to be fucked with.

One last thing, you start out with 50,000gold.  First thing you should do is go into your training area and upgrade your unit production to 5/day so that you're actually makin' new dudes to induct into your army.  You only start out with one dude, and obviously the more dudes you make a day the better.

(dude dude dude dude dude)

nb: oh, and even if you're not interested, could you maybe just click and confirm anyway?  i get one extra soldier every time someone does.  would be nice to get a few more so i can crush people's heads.  thanks.

This sounds pretty interesting but I'm wondering would it be as playable in an office work place setting?

I used to play, then I got addicted by Gunz, a Korean mmorpgfps. They're working on npcs and stuff for the International Ver. so right now its sorta like Wolfenstein ET. www.gunzonline.com
Yeah, we could turn this into the shameless plugs thread.
