Fair enough. In my opinion I think Sonic Youth is over rated because of the numerous people who have claimed they are "sonically innovative" or other such claptrap. I think the Butthole Surfers did and do better weird experimental rock or what ever the fuck the kids call it these days.

Also Thom Yorkes voice is awful. But anyway, I think you can say any band is over-rated when one of Britains largest television channels rates their eight-year old album the best ever, beating an illustrious list both mentioned and unmentioned. Plus, I hate guff like, say, everything Pitchfork writes about them, and every explanation I've ever seen ever of why 'Paranoid Android' is someones favourite song ever. How can so many people get so wet over something so inspidly boring? Even if you like them, you must admit they're over-rated. Only Skyclad could get that much praise and not be over-rated.
