Ok guys, here's where i need you to pool your indie powers of awesome to help a fellow out.

clap your hands say yeah are taking a little jaunt over to the UK in november to play the ULU on November 22nd. Of course, tickets went on sale last week, and I only found out today. My joy was quickly replaced by dispair when they were sold out!

Is there any super fellows or fellowesses who might have a spare ticket that they would want to sell it? or alternative know of any smaller ticket vendors who have some left? I would be eternally greatful to anyone who can help out.

to give this topic a better puropse to prevent lockage, anyone ever missed an awesome gig they wanted to see?

I missed vitalic in my hometown the other night becasue the soulwax show he was supporting sold out. I was pretty bummed about it at first because I enjoy the sounds that frenchman makes, then thought about the venue being packed to the walls with trendy fresher uni fucks only there to "get totally munted maaaate!" or because their friends told them to, and I felt a little better about it. So I went swiftly home with only a short detour the nearby chinese for some top-notch prawn balls to nibble on while listening to a silver mt zion and max richter.

I managed to score some for the Manchester show the other week, even though the website for the ticket office said they were sold out. Try contacting the venue directly or actually going to the ticket office.

Stargreen used to be a good for having a few 'lying around' when you needed them desperately, give them a go.

I'd say hang around the outside of the venue and scream "LOOKING FOR TICKETS" while walking around in circles. You either get arrested, or you get tickets.

Well, my luck is spotty, certainly.  Missed Amon Tobin by a month, but happened to be in LA (for E3) the same time as an Autechre gig, so it's all good.

Well you posted in April, so whatever I say won't have much bearing on the original reason for the thread, but I may as well resurrect it and give my say on the band.

Effing a.  I love their album.  I saw them live at the First Uni Church in Philly in August, so the atmosphere was really personal, and they put on a great show.  I'm one of like, three of four people around here who likes Ounsworth's vocals.  "Clap Your Hands!" kicks ass.  And awayyy we go...
