Burning Rickshaw.

Don't know how I came up with that one, but I like it :) Strong mental image, at least it is to me.

How can you make original music if you can't think of a decent band name?

there are plenty examples of that, take TV on the Radio, they make original music but their name is just uninspired(or terrible if you prefer)

True. I was just trying to be snide.

Meh.

The Ancestral Spoons. I like that name because my ancestors really did invent the spoon.

I must say I'm not overly fond on the LPs either. If I had to choose between a Strat and a Les, I'd go with the Les - however, I'm much happier with a Tele in my hands.

Why not just call it "teh?" twice as easy to remember, and just as uncreative!

I guess you may have missed the Johnny Marr / The Smiths angle.

Not saying its brilliant, just you know not entirely without intention

Actually, in retrospect, there's a good chance that "Teh" wouldn't be the worst name ever conceived for a music group.

I shan't elaborate.

Might I suggest Yttrium, for a lack of better ideas?

I like the name Orgasmic Hellos. Not sure why you'd need to change.

Good Grief works well, too, though.

and Shut Up & Dance.

Tough.

I just thought I'd answer that revelation with something that doesn't really make sense
