New Bond, James Bond.
Bunnyman:
--- Quote from: LiterSize ---Well, it IS Bond's first mission, right? Only fair to show that he had a lot of refining to do back in the day.
--- End quote ---
A friend of mine is convinced that each bond movie is a parallel universe, wherein each mission is in fact Bond's First Mission. I'm sure a more dedicated Bond fan than I could find cross-movie references to partially debunk that, but it's actually a rather nifty theory.
Daniel Craig was pretty fucking smooth in Layer Cake. So...sounds like a fit. Though my understanding is that he's not in the running. Whatever.
peep101:
As far as I'm aware he has actually been confirmed as the next bond. There was something on the the BBC news website last week about his first press-conference which was a bit of a wash-out.
I think he'd make a really good bond personally. I can't say I've seen him in any recent films but he was stunning a BBC series called 'Our Friends in the North' in the mid-90s.
Leonidas:
It is very much confirmed.

I will continue to reserve judgment until the movie is done and comes out. ANyone remember the Woody Allen take on James Bond?

Casino Royale!
La Creme:
I hoped Clive Owen or Christian Bale, but this chap seems pretty cool. Seriously though, whoever will help them bring out more Bond movies. Seriously, what the fuck, they are kind of far apart...
Also, seriously, it is about time they used Alan Ford as a Bond villain.
