My friend (who is 17) almost has his whole of both arms covered in tattoo's. And he has stars on his legs. It's pretty amazing. And he does a lot of his own work, alongside his dad. I think since September, he's had...4 more tattoos done. I might try to take some pictures of them later... I'm still in love with this tattoo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/slightclutter/147197740/
And another one that is pretty interesting (for you zombie obsessed people)

I like your new tattoo PQ4 it looks pretty sweet.

What a bunch of bitches.

Anyway, the worst part was actually her hand that goes over onto my shin -fuuuuuuuuck. The ankle bit wasn't bad at all compared to that!

RWS: your friend is 17 and already is covered in tattoos?? Well that certainly isn't legal, now is it? Is his Dad a tattoo artist (licensed, may I add)? Either way, the guy should know better (But I'm not being preachy, this is the healing process talking. Friggin' stings...)

I should probably save up some money or something. I might wait till my birthday.

Yes, his dad is a licensed tattoo artist. And Chris (my friend) plans on carrying on the family business, he's already done some of his own tattoos (which is...you know...not very legal either). The plan is to finish his arms by the end of the year, then move onto his back. In some places, it is actually legal with parental consent to get tattoos when you are under 18, but most places (in the US) have adopted laws against it.

ThePQ4:
I'm pretty sure the entire U.S. is "You Must be 18", the only state holding out on tattoos all together (I believe) was Oklahoma but they changed the law last year, so we're all good to go.

I'm glad I waited until I was actually 18 to get my tattoos though. My Mom had time to warm up to the idea of them, and actually really likes them now, and I had more time to think about what I really wanted. Getting a tattoo before then just seems silly to me now.

My artist is hilarious --he was complaining a bit about some of the other artists in the area and how some of them (though they do nice work) are kind of jackasses. I am glad I go to my shop and not one of they others ;) He is so entertaining.
