Okay, I can get that frustration. I've only ever heard snakebite used to mean two labrets (which I gleefully mispronounce, by the way) on opposite sides - like that first picture.

So you know how I feel when people won't listen when I tell them how to pronounce Beijing (Bay-jing not Beige-ing!). Or insist on calling wushu "kung-fu"...

I have people argue with me over how to pronounce my own fucking name. So I know how that feels.

The only thing I don't like about the Pangea videos sometimes are how the dudes sounds like he is talking very laboriously to enunciate every syllable. But I like the knowledge I gain from them.
I have been guilty of calling my stretched ears, and various jewelry gauges. But I mostly do it when talking to unmodified plebs so they don't know the difference.
