Der Tattoo Thread.

Even if it's a fad (and obviously it is, there's tons of them around everywhere), if you like the joke and you don't mind a visible tat, then what's the problem?
I'm just not a big fan of the "Other people have it, so it sucks" mentality.
You also have to consider that for someone who is willing to get a visible joke tattoo, do they really care?

I just can't think of anything that's funny/silly enough that it would still be funny years down the road. Once the novelty wears off, I'd just be asking myself, "why the fuck did I get this?"

Honestly, sometimes it doesn't matter if you find it funny years and years down the road.
I expect my tattoo to eventually lose the general "giggle" effect it gives me when I see it (going on 3 years now), but it's still very much a good representation of my silly sense of humor and my interest.
Also the bonus of having a tattoo that small, it's easily covered by better ink if you ever do get sick of it.
