To an extent, but it also depends on where you get it on the calf. I got mine on the upper regions and it started to hit near the bone by my knees and the outline was a bit of suck. Towards the middle was fine, though.

It looks fresh, I think they'll look less misshappen when the swelling goes down probably.
This is the first tattoo of my artwork that I actually think is kind of cool.
PS I should clarify that is not me, a reader sent in this picture of his arm.
