The Unofficial QC Halloween Mix CD(s)

Ok, here's the deal, I want to collect up a list of the most jamminest Halloween tunes and organise them into a spooky mix/set of CDs for the playing at Halloween style parties. I'm looking for some good stuff with a beat, but dark and halloweeny style lyrics and whatnot. Stuff like halloweenish Ska, Indie, and stuff that doesn't really fall into a genre like Voltaire (google it) and the Dresden Dolls. Try to keep it spooky and at least somewhat mellow. I don't particularly want any metal, but I will make sure I at least check out every song. And before you add a song, check this post for the updated list and make sure it isn't on there. (It's going to be Title - Artist because I said so)

well, man, halloween is pretty cheesy, so halloween-themed music is naturally going to be pretty cheesy too! but if you want creepy, there are a whole lot of ways to go. i won't waste your time if you need it to be halloween-themed specifically, but in all honesty you really can't go wrong with some einsturzende neubaten or you know whatever kmdfm or something

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Bauhaus-Bela Lugosi Is Dead

I know you already rejected one song by them but this one is close to mandatory.
Others:
The Birthday Party
-The Friend Catcher
-Mr. Clarinet

I'm sure there are lots of songs by Nick Cave and the bad seeds that would work great but I'm no expert on them.

Pretty much anything from the album Horror Show by Iced Earth, but 'Damien', 'Wolf', and 'Dracula' are the best songs.

EDIT: Khar is also the greatest for mentioning Tom Lehrer. Although what does the Masochism Tango have to do with Halloween?

Lehrer is just godlike, and it's an evil, cheery track. Any of the ones about insane killers would probably be good as well. Halloween stuff doesn't have to be about Halloween.

Also, I can't believe I missed off that Ministry track.

Also, Current 93 ftw.

The Ghastly Ones

Seriously, best Haloween band EVER.

Also, basically every Misfits and Tom Waits song ever can work on a Halloween mix.

How about "I Put A Spell On You" by Screamin Jay Hawkins? He was the first guy to use the gimmick of jumping out of a coffin on stage, can't get more halloween than that.

Anything and everything Nekromantix. Also, I find the Murder By Death "Who Will Survive And What Will Be Left Of Them?" album to be rather spooky while also maintaining it's ability to be just plain awesome.
