Yeah, but I saw Soulfly last month, so I can just meld my memories of the two renditions of Roots, Bloody Roots together and it's kinda  the same.

Well, not really.

Bloodbath - Outnumbering the Day

This song is impossibly cool.

Is it just me, or does the Soulfly version of Roots Bloody Roots is way better then the original Sepultura version?

Faun

Unfortunately, the file information's incomplete, and I don't know the name of the song. All I know is that this is the second track from the album "Licht".

The last track (I'm on random shuffle) Was "Rise", from Metal Gear Solid: Standalone Complex, and the one before that was Machinae Supremacy - "Hybrid".

Current 93 - Crowleymass (Mix Mix Mix)

The recitation from Book 77 at the end of this track is just sheer brilliance, even if Dave Tibets aim is to actually undercut Thelema with the way he puts the chilling emphasis on the last law (which is 'Man has the right to kill those who would thwart these rights. The slaves shall serve.') He can't take back the sheer mad exuberance with which he recites the rest of it though.

Also, none of those albums are metal.

Not on the archives.

The only thing I argue about in their inclusion policy is their attitude to non-metal side-projects (Mortiis and Of The Wand and the Moon, but not Deathstars, WHAT?) As to what's actually metal, they are pretty much the definitive guide.

Mercyful Fate - Return of the Vampire

Now this is METAL.
