Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You

The ultimate in prog with a really bad name that brings your expectations down and then impresses like crazy.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Really nothing like the first album, for good or bad. It's starting to grow on me but it's probably not top ten (or fifty) material, just a fun couple of songs.

This is pretty much the worst band i've heard this year. It's fat cyberhoth music that seems to be all the rage right now. Gack.

If cybergoth music is the worst thing you've heard all year, you obviously don't listen to the radio enough.

Agalloch - A Desolation Song

Is that a harmonica in the background? I can't decide. It could be a blues harp low in the mix, or it could be some other things. The harmonica has pretty much been unfairly missing from metal ever since Black Sabbath's 'The Wizard', and whenever it was the last time Motorhead did an acoustic number.

I bought the JCB song...

True, you don't hear many harmonicas. Im sure Goatsnake have used one though. They've used a mouth harp, which was...interesting.

I'm going to listen to Agalloch, because i've not listened to them in ages.

So, NP: Agalloch - She Painted Fire Across The Skyline Part 2

Earlier today I listened to the Silver Jews: Tanglewood Numbers; and disc 2 of X.T.C.: Fossil Fuel: the X.T.C. Singles 1977-92.

Boy - Punk Ethic

Got this cd at an AFI show two years ago... totally liked it and then bought their second album last year. Another great canadian band unknown in Quebec...

Like the Stars, whom I saw in a club last month filled with a huge crowd of... 15. Including other bands' members. The Machines stole the show, though.
