Preston School of Industry, All This Sounds Gas
Some classic Spiral Stairs. Doesn't really stack up to Pavement, but it has some nice moments.

In the way of "He's so awesome I'm manly" or "At least I'm not that nerdy, MANLY"? Either is generally applicable.

I got the (now out-of-print and very expensive) album from Soulseek. A collaboration between John Zorn, Mike Patton, and Ikue Mori. Freaking terrifying stuff.

It is. I used to only like John Zorn for his more traditional Jewish stuff (Masada Trio). I downloaded Hemophiliac on a whim.

You can imagine how freaked out I was. But I love it now, and have also been getting into a lot of the weird Japanese stuff he has on his label.

It may be badass, but it's not ultimately bad-ass. I know this because I am currently experiencing something pretty fucking close to the ultimate pinnacle of bad-assness, namely:

Cryptic Wintermoon - Bonegrinder 1916

"THE SMELL OF POISON GAS, FILLS THE AIR!
NO NEED TO SEARCH FOR DEATH: HE WILL FIND YOU THERE!
SOIL DRENCHED IN BLOOD, CITIES PULVERISED,
DEAD BODIES TWISTED, HUMANS CARBONISED!
BONEGRINDER GRINDING BONES, EATING THEM ALIVE,
SPITTING THEM OUT DEAD, NO-ONE WILL SURVIVE!

WAR! WAR IS THE ONLY ANSWER!
MY GUN SPREADS BULLETS LIKE CANCER!
WAR IS THE ONLY ANSWER!
MY GUN SPREADS BULLETS LIKE CANCER!"

I thought they could never top 'Supersatan', but there's at least three tracks on 'Of Shadows...And The Dark Things You Fear' that are it's equal.

And I have Thrashomatic Overdrive and WAR (Without Any Regret) enqueued next.

Fuck I love CW.
