I know this is getting a bit off-topic, but I don't feel this question alone warrants a new thread:
I have the chance to see Broken Social Scene in december. I don't know any of their songs. Still ... are they worth seeing?

Why the hell does a pop band need so many guitarists? Someone wanted all their friends to be in the band!

I don't take photos at concerts, maybe I should, but I only have large, decent cameras and an old phone with no camera. Might buy a disposable for Alice Cooper next week. (zomg!)

Yes. See them. They put on an incredible show. Don't worry why they have so many guitarists, just know that it's fuckin awesome.

Our shiny new printer's got a negative scanner so I can finally afford to shoot black and white again. Now I just need to get me some Neopan 400 and turn 18 so I can actually get into shows. (Broken Social Scene leave Perth a couple of days before my birthday. Assholes.)

From M'era Luna (last w/e in August) this year:

Rogue from The Crüxshadows, singing from the top of a lighting rig.

Which doesn't sound that impressive until you consider that this was a festival stage, and he climbed 40 fucking feet up to the top of that scaffolding, in the rain, with no safety gear. And he didn't miss a note on the way up.

That is badass.

I didn't take any of these photos.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah @ the First Unitarian Church in Philly in August:

None of the photos from Wilco @ Penn's landing in June were very good.

Sufjan Stevens at the TLA in Philly in September = best show ever.

ZOMG, the dates.

But I'm still not sure ... the date is not ideal and I have yet to find someone to there with me. Going alone sucks.

This is kinda off topic"

That's crazy. If BSS played on the third that means the Bassist and guitarist played Stubbs that entire weekend. Cause I saw Stars and Death Cab on the 5th. And Stars played again on the 6th. I didn't even know BSS had come to town. :( I'm a sad panda.

I was at the Death Cab show too. BSS also played Denton on the 4th, and Stars was playing with Death Cab that night there too, so they got Amy to go to the BSS show and sing "Anthems" with them. Really wish I could have gone to that show too, but I had an amazing night at my show, so there are no complaints.

Might as well make my first post interesting.

Saw Mew last month in London, amazing band. Everyone should check them out. http://www.mewsite.com.

Anyay, pix :P

I took like a hundred pics, so those are only a few :P
Mew always put on an amazing live show, and they play their Music videos on a projecter behind them as they play. The videos are made by none other than the lead himself (Jonas) who makes some quite... fucked up stuff. Brilliant though.

Was a very intimate gig. Only 100 or so people, very little compared to the previous 2 times I saw them, where they had 500~ patrons. Although the support in the previous gigs was a lot better. Pure Reason Revolution are great. This time it was only some creepy old guy with an electro-acoustic guitar singing about some girl he broke up with. :)
