I think Coldplay did something daring to get their fans to rally behind them and say "OMG LETS GET HITS ON THEIR SITE".
Too bad it pissed off a lot of other people.

Cold Play has a sound I like there for I listen to them. Its not like they don't have any musical tallent at all!

What would be amusing is if not enough people visited the site, and no-one turned up for their last dates.

What's so awful about this? They're obviously going to announce them all before tickets go on sale, and if they don't Ticketmaster will. Until then, they're just encouraging people to tell their friends about their band and go to their site. I mean, sure, it's a little annoying, but considering how many have already flocked to the site, it's not like it'ds going to take that long, so it's not that obnoxious. It's a way for Coldplay's name to spread around the internet one more time, even if sometimes negatively. I mean, it got them a pitchfork news post, and it'll either get another, or an updated one, when all the dates are out. That's more than the usual press, no?
Or maybe I just don't care because I don't care about seeing Coldplay live. Come to think of it, from such seeming Coldplay-haters, you all sure do want to know when these tour dates are.
