This is precisely my point: Some of us DON'T hate them and are sick and tired of people opining how much they suck! Go talk about somebody else if you don't like them! PLEASE!

I gotcha. You cut off one head and two will rise in its place and all that jazz.

This advertising tactic is either pure label handling, ego massaging on the part of the band or something in between. But, that's pretty much the fate of any band that's on a major.

For some reason I've been having desperate urges to set pi and e to music.  Less meaningful than a tax form!
