Seconded on everything Storm Rider said, and Lacreme (well, the LTE, Eels, and Bungle part). On Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains, I'd go with Elephant Ghost rather than Jackalope. I also really like Bungle's Chemical Marriage.
Alone in Kyoto is insturmental? I have to relisten to that record.

What do you mean by instrumental exactly? Because most of the stuff I listen to already lacks lyrics, or what lyrics exist are twisted and cut beyond recognition, Prefuse 73-style.
