Mmmm... Minimal House.
If you like the Eulberg vibe, you should check out this mix by Sami Koivikko. It's devastatingly minimal.
1. Dominik Eulberg: "Die Rotbauchunken vom Tegernsee" Traum
2. Beese & Schmitz: "Meander" Liebe*Detail
3. Osborne: "Graphite" Spectral Sound
4. Marc Houle: "Borrowed Gear" Minus
5. Mathew Jonson: "Magic Through Music" Itiswhatitis
6. Luciano & Serafin: "Yaki Soba" Telegraph
7. Noon(at: "Maggot" Treibstoff
8. Sten: "Stalker" Sender
9. Meteo/Thiel: "Moonoverdada" (Peter Grummich Remix) Meteosound
10. Pan/tone: "Smoke Signals" Sender
11. Televerket: "Pretty Girls" Italic
12. Tomas Andersson: "Happy Happy" BPitch Control
13. Rex The Dog: "Frequency" Kompakt
14. Metope: "Libertango" Areal
Anyway, I'd say at least 90% of the music I listen to is instrumental, so there isn't a simple answer. Turquoise Hexagon Sun by Boards of Canada and She Moves She by Four Tet have to be a strong contenders though.
Kossie:
IRON MAIDEN - TRANSYLVANIA!!!!!!!!
Iced Earth did a really good cover of it too, pretty much the same song just a half step lower and it doesn't sound as dated. UP THE IRONS!!!!
Thrillho:
Hope of the States - The Black Amnesias
Praeserpium Machinarum:
Probably something classical(Ride of the Walkyries comes to mind) or the entirety of Lift Your Skinny Fists like Antenna to Heaven. Plenty of soundtracks as well e.g. Road to Perdition, Lord of the Rings and others.
I am not really big on instrumentals, hardly ever listen to it to be honest.
lastclearchance:
"Untitled" from Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. Unbelievably amazing. I could just listen to that bagpipe-joy over and over. And I sometimes do.
