I don't understand why people think the original version of "Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts" is better than the Apologies version, which just sounds like the original except a lot less muddled. 'Mirite?

He's refering to the Wolf Parade song Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts.  I haven't heard the original version (I'm guessing it's off their EP), but I love the version on Apologies to the Queen Mary.  It's definately my favorite song on the album.

Now, see, that wasn't so hard. So why make a thread with an unrelated title and then talk about specific infortmation about tracks by a band not everyone here has heard.

Say, on that note, The version of Nostalgia that comes on Defending the Throne of Evil, or the 'Last Sigh of Nostalgia' rehearsal version from In These Trees Are My Gallows?

I guess cuz people who had heard the song would know, or something, and people who didn't wouldn't have the answer he was looking for.

I haven't heard the original but I enjoy the Apologies version quite a bit.

The title is a line from the song.  Still, not the best topic out there, I suppose...

What's funny is even with the information finally given, I've still never agreed with this man more.

Wasn't there one time where everyone completely agreed with Khar?

I remember that. It was like a day of the Twilight Zone. Maybe because everything was monochrome and I saw a gremlin on the wing

Anyways, if you didn't understand the topic title, that's okay but it's a problem that sixteen dollars and a trip to your local record shoppe can fix and you will be grateful that you did so.
