in dying palm fields:
Is the "Bossk" notice on the noticeboard in the first panel of strip 923 a reference to the UK-based isis/pelican-esque band, or is it purely coincidental? Because if it refers to them, you are very awesome for being someone from across the pond who has heard of them!

More worryingly, is it somehow related to the Trandoshan from Star Wars they no doubt stole their name from :P

Hey Jeph, I have a Photoshop question!

I've noticed that whenever I create a panel for a webcomic and save it as a JPEG, I lose the richness of the colour! When the comic is uploaded everything is washed out. I have searched google trying to find a solution to this but thus far none of the suggestions have worked. Does this ever happen to you when you save a comic for the web? Your colours always look so bright and great...

HPPH:
What compression are you using? Also, notice that Jeph's using PNGs but at a 256 color format.
