I hope I'm not late in finding this band... I did a quick search and didn't see any mentino of them.

Out of  indonesia comes Everybody Loves Irene. A sort of trip-hop, ambient chill-out band with a strong female vocalist. The singer has a mellow, sugary ethereal voice. This is NOT Indonesian music. I'm horrible at making comparisons with other bands so forgive me for making wierd relations. If you enjoyed some of the more down-tempo songs from Thievery Corporation's latest album I can guarantee you will enjoy this band. Particularly if you enjoyed "The Time We Lost Our Way"

The best song they have available is "Memento Mori." All the songs are in english and very well produced without being overproduced and fake sounding.

dude, that was really nice. the singer kinda reminds me of skin from skunk anansie, which is a really good thing. i don't think i could listen to this all day but, it's still cool nonetheless. good ears you got there.

When I saw "Indonesia" and "Irene" I immediately thought of an Asian cover band doing a flawed version of "Come on Eileen."

I'm glad you liked it. I just want more people to know about them. I really, really like them. I'm not sure why though...
