Anyone here ever heard of The Panda Band? They're currently making their debut album which should be out in like...march or may...one of them "em's". Well anyway, i heard their 'demo cd' and man, these guys are awesome! They're like Supper Furry Animals except more live instruments than synthesizers, and their musical ideas can just about top up Nick Cave..............nah man, Nick Cave is Nick Cave (who else would he be?) so there's probably no way to top that (not sexually you dirty bastards...that's right, you!).

anyway, list some band slash composer slash performer thingo guy slash chick that you think no one may have heard of here........................slash

Those pandas sound like my kind of pandas, now what could be amazing is if they played live in panda costumes!
But they probably don't...

Bands...

Listen to Brudevalsen dammit!

Also more people need to listen to Under Byen, they have been described as Einstürzende Bjorkbauten and yes, they are that awesome!
If that got you interested you can pm me for tracks :)

u know...i just realised something

i may have just set loose a form of 'viral' advertising......wow. Am I like, a pioneer or something? Nah probably not.

For all those out there who don't study advertising and visual communication and design - viral advertising is like sending a message to someone like a kid or catching the attention of someone for some new product. What happens is that kid or that someone goes to their friends and says things like "mate...dude...shazza...this product is so cool". And so their friends buy it!

Except you're not my friends *glares at everyone* so it doesnt work.

nah u're alright lol

lol...looks like a pink robo retard with some other little pink robo retard coming out of its head

and by the way...i took a look at that german post rock band and i gotta say they play some AWESOME shit. I still think that the panda band is a little more favourite of the genre though, because im into the whole synthesized crap. I make soul/funk/jazz music myself, so i love it when you combine live instrumentation with digital instrumentation. Gotta love those pandas lol

The Panda Band are definitely in the thick of up-and-coming Australian acts.
I'm definitely digging them.

Nick Cave...now that guy's mad :D

I should mention because I like the attention and the idiocy has grasped me, that he used to go to my school :D
Nick Cave used to go to my freagin school! How mad is that? - Caulfield Grammar School here in Melbourne.

yeah, I know, it's sad thinking about that...i mean, what's so special about that anyway?
