Ha, I like it, especially when that guy said he was probably in a band with Sufjan Stevens....or something.

The only part I thought was funny was that they didn't pronounce anything properly, like Sujfan.

I wonder what he'd do if someone told him they hated Pitchfork.

The only really good part was the guy saying "indietastic". It was so cheesy it made ME cringe.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

The indietastic line was pretty funny, as was shooting the guy for asking about the Garden State soundtrack. The thing is though, mocking people requires taking traits the already possess and blowing them out of proportion. However, I don't know a single indie rock fan that actually LIKES Pitchfork.  Plus real clerks wouldn't be talking about bands that are so well known.

Also, the Arctic Monkees are terrible.

Me neither. Or at least no one will admit to it. The indie thing nowadays is Pitchfork-bashing, it seems.

Either someone reads Nothing Nice to Say or I just love Mitch Clem far too much for my own good. PS: That video's solid gold, I giggled at the butchering the hell outta Devendra Banhart's name.

Don't forget San Antonia Rock City! It's pretty darn amusing, and Mitch's drawings of Nardwar make me laugh.  READ IT *shakes fist threateningly*

The moment they brought up Interpol I was like, "Wait... these guys aren't Indy snobs."

I mean, I've heard more Interpol songs on the radio than Bravery songs.

What I would do for a radio station that played anything close to Interpol...

Seriously, I end up changing from the rock station to the pop station constantly because while the rock station is painful to listen to at least the pop station is basically just a drum machine with someone singing occasionally.
