I think you might like Alter Bridge than. It's basically Creed with a different, and much, MUCH better singer. They also explore a more metal side. The guitars are less grungy, more rock. They can actually rock a bit now that they aren't Scott Stapp's bitch anymore.

--- Quote from: KharBevNor ---A few Godsmack songs (Voodoo, Vampires)

Vampires is one of my favourite songs ever.

As for guilty pleasures, I don't really have any. I love all the music I listen to with a passion, despite their various upsides and downsides. Godsmack, Orgy, Slipknot's 'The Subliminal Verses', StainD. I listen to a lot of stuff that others consider utter crap. I don't really care.

Misereatur:
Duran Duran, The Sisters Of Mercy and from time to time I'd watch VH1's So 80's.

I absolutly love The Smashing Pumpkins.

I also like a bit of Aphax Twin and some electronica stuff. Like Faithless, I've been to a concert of thiers last summer and it was perfect.

And The Streets. And other hip-hop bands that dont brand themselfs like mad.

So that's the name of the band that is Creed - Scott Stapp, then?  Looks like I'll have to find out what I can.

Oh, and about Staind:

I honestly do not like them.  I've had a ton of friends tell me I should listen to them, that I'd like them a ton, and then I saw them open for Audioslave, and was so uninterested, I wandered around with my brother outside the seeting, in the consessions area.  A friend of mine went to the concert and was such a pretentious Staind fan, he left after they performed because "Staind shouldn't open for anyone."  Poor guy missed the definite best performance of the night.

Something else I just thought of I could count as a guilty pleasure:  I like some video game music.  Well, a lot of it, but I leave pretty much the entire Guilty Gear soundtrack (for GGX2, GGX#Reload, and GG Isuka) on my playlist.  "The Cat Attatched To The Rust" is a really awesome song, among others.

McTaggart:
I'll 'fess up to anything that I listen to. I like it and I don't see a reason not to admit it.  There are cd's I won't mention that I bought (Prodigy for example) but that's more so that people don't get a wrong idea about what I like now.

To be honest, my liking StainD is based on an impressive list of five songs. I mostly like them because the singer is one of my favourite people to sing along with - because I actually manage to sound okay. I bet if I listened to more I'd probably go 'meh'.

And he's pissed because StainD opened for Audioslave? Goddamn, talk about priorities. I'll take every chance I can get to see Tom Morello make beautiful porno with his guitar.
