Neither of those is by any stretch of the imagination the greatest anything ever.

Especially not Guns and Roses.

The November Rain video is balls. ARGH NO IT'S RAINING FFUUUUUCK *destroys a shitload of cake*

They should've just stuck with 7 minutes of Slash playing a magic guitar on a cliff because hey, Slash.

I never understood that. WHY does he jump through the damn cake? There's literally no reason for it.

He jumps through the cake because he has to do so. It is an expression of his emotion.

Maybe he's diabetic and he suddenly snaps and is all FUCK YOU GUYS IF I CAN'T HAVE CAKE NO ONE CAN.

Or maybe everyone involved in the making of the video was fucked on heroin 24/7 during the recording process, who knows.

By God, it's true! I too have felt the emotion that requires me to jump not just onto, but through a cake!

November Rain is just about the most ridiculous amount of filler ever produced for the showcasing of a single guitar solo. I've never been able to remember anything from that song except the end and am surprised every time at the (rather insulting) existence of the first seven minutes of it.

That said, I will repeat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstella_5555:_The_5tory_of_the_5ecret_5tar_5ystem

The best music video ever is the one Replacements video where it's just a picture of a stereo and then at the end the guy kicks the speakers in or something.

Second! Now that we have solved this mystery, this thread can have its title changed to "The 'Breakin the Law' Animated Gif Thread" mods, if you'd be so kind.

I'm not going to bite my tongue this time: you are god damn idiot if you think the Daft Punk video is the only worthwhile anime ever.

One of the better animated videos was Pearl Jam "Do The Evolution." You have all this war, and chaos and some really powerful images. Hm... I guess you could say that Peter Gabriel could fall into this category too, what with his Claymation Revolution from the 80s era MTV days.
