I have heard that the trailer is pretty deceptive. The film itself is a comedy, not the horror the trailer suggests.

I actually do believe it's a horror movie, and either way, comedy or horror, this is shaping up to be the most fucked up movie that has ever been made. That said, I doubt that I ever will see it.

It's being played as a horror film the same way Hot Fuzz was played as an action film - clear love for the genre but definite comic undercurrent.

you know those horror films where nipples get sliced, diced, and chewed off? i can't watch those without wanting to puke or faint, so i figure that if i had a wee wee i'd react the same way watching this, so i'm not going to force any of my male buds to come see this with me because they've all been kind enough to warn me when titty-slicing sequences in horror films were about to happen.

except that one time no one warned me in Ichi the Killer, and i've never forgiven them >: (

anyhoo, i dont have a wee wee so i can finally enjoy a horror film with genital/sexual organ mutilation in peace. :)

Yes, I mentioned it in another thread.  It really is an awesome movie, because it combines a touching gay love story with, well, a killer condom.

I've never seen a film so obviously flaunting the total lack of respect for the audience.  I mean, really, 8 year old humour in an rated R movie?
Well anyway, the real deterant is that all the jokes will have been said before arriving at the theatre.
