her acne/moles are noticeably absent in tonight's strip. her skin is uncharacteristically clear. is this the predicted sexification of marigold?

I personally thought she looked cuter before. But then again, that's probably mostly cause I tended to forget she had bad acne and I figured all the dots were freckles instead.
I'm willing to bet Jeff just forgot to draw them in.

As to Marigold's blemishes, zits come and go -- she may be at a point where her face has cleared up a bit, either because she's cleaning herself better or due to other factors. And yes, it's possible that Jeph just forgot. The dude's sick, let's give him a break. :-P

From Planet Karen (http://www.planetkaren.co.uk/), which was one of my favourite webcomics, until it seemed to become moribund. But on visiting the site to check the archives just now, I found it had updated! My day is a little brighter!

It's not even that, "emotional age" is a pretty fluid thing. She let herself be caught up in a fantsy. And, like leaving a really good movie or putting down a really good book, reality's right there where you left it. That can be a good thing, sometimes.
Not that it doesn't leave you unchanged!
