Also one thing I have noticed since I started buzz-cutting my hair (apart from the fact that I'm going bald at the back as well as the front) is that when it starts to grow out it naturally forms a kind of faux-hawk shape. I cannot decide whether this is amazing or horrifying. Possibly both.

1. Goatees are never acceptable.
2. Same with a soul patch.
3. Mustaches are, again, not acceptable, with a few exceptions: Walrus, Fu Man Chu and Handlebar, provided you have the lifestyle to back it up.
3:a. Molestaches, law-enforcement-staches and "redneck-staches" are grounds for immediate disqualification.

Speaking of getting injured... one of the new horses in the barn decided to slam me into a wall a week ago. I had a nasty blue/red/yellow/purple bruise that covered my right hip and most of the right half of my abdomen. A similarly-colored bruise also covered pretty much my entire right arm. Would post pictures, but they are mostly healed and do not look too interesting now.
But they are hard copies so I won't be grossin' y'all out with those.

I took oxycontin and hydrocodone after I had knee surgery. I don't remember that week very well. But it made me pretty nauseous too, imapirate, if I didn't fall asleep immediately.

I don't believe it was a "gang-style attack" and really, the details are sketchy. It's questionable as to whether or not she was unconcious at the time, but the weapon mentioned was a beer bottle.

Pictured is me on the pitch after Leeds had beaten Bournemouth in the very last game of the season, which ensured our promotion. This game was marred by heavy fighting between visiting Leeds fans and riot police but back in the day, that was part of going to see a match. A few minutes later we were dispersed from that very spot by tear gas canisters. This is what football was like back in the 80s.

My paranoid friend was sure that it would be the end of the world on that day. So he told me to wear my nicest stuff, so I could die with dignity. I kept telling him he was crazy, but he was sure, so I got together all my nicer stuff, all black (seemed fitting if humanity was going to die) and I sent him that picture. The end of the world didn't come, but it was an ok picture.

I like the idea of being able to fit my entire life into one bag(It's true I could! I have a ton of righto awesome camping gear, I am such a little trooper).I love my backpacks. So much.
However, Strappy back packs for non-packing uses are stupid. :C
